Become familiar with the MyDisneyExperience app

Whilst you may not want to be glued to your phone whilst on vacation in the parks, you need to embrace the fact that you will be using the My Disney Experience app on your phone quite extensively!

The app is THE resource that you’ll use to manage your day in the park.

You will already have used MyDisneyExperience to:

  • Add additional family or group members to your account
  • Add your Disney Magic Tickets to each of your group members
  • Add your Disney resort hotel reservation to your account (if you booked a Disney hotel)

Before you leave for your vacation you can use MyDisneyExperience to:

  • Make Disney dining reservations up to 60 days out
  • Make Enchanted Extras Collection reservations up to 60 days out
  • Check-in to your Disney resort hotel (if you booked a Disney hotel)

Using the MyDisneyExperience app in the parks

When you’re on vacation and in the parks, you can use MyDisneyExperience to:

  • Purchase Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane entry services
  • Choose your Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane entry rides and attractions
  • Check ride and attraction queue times
  • View the interactive park maps
  • Order food in advance for easy pick up at your chosen food outlet or restaurant
  • View and manage any MemoryMaker/PhotoPass images taken on the rides or by Disney cast photographers

And if you get stuck or have a question about the app, you can chat with a Disney cast member from within the app, too. Click the hamburger (three bars) icon on the bottom right-hand corner of the menu bar and select the Chat-with-us option.

So, load the app on your phone, have a play and become confident in navigating around the various features and functions.
